What a great weekend we have had! We were able to go to Grandma and Papa's on Saturday and enjoy the pool. It was a little cool, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Katie was able to sit in the little mini pool next to the big pool and enjoy the sun. Eli took a little time warming up to the idea of being in the pool, but eventually started to love it.We were able to go to church Sunday and have a great day there and then again eating with the family--yummy steaks!
Today, we went over to Grandma and Papa's shortly after noon and Grandma had the alligator pool set up for the little kid
s. Eli had to get his swimsuit on and he played from then u
ntil a little after 6pm. (When we first got there Wyatt was on the go-cart and yes, I let Eli ride with him. He drove very slow and Eli loved it!) His little legs got chapped because he had been wet from the pool so long. He also ate enough watermelon to bust. We had a great time playing in the pool and Katie seemed to enjoy it much better today. She sat in her little pool for a long time. Eli already has a little tan line just from running around today. We ate wonderful barbeque with all the fixin's including banana pudding. Yum Yum! We look forward to many days in the pool this summer.
