Barnwell and Strawberries

We were able to go and visit with Jamie's family this week. We had a wonderful time! The weather was wonderful (well, until a storm came in and knocked the power off 10 minutes before my season finales were to begin.) I did enjoy sitting around the table with Paba and sharing stories. We had a nice Santa Claus candle giving out light. It was fun.

Since Katie is now a full time crawler, she has taken up other interests. She now likes to try and climb steps and pull up on some objects. So, needless to say, my life will be a little busier now that she is on the move.


We went to go and pick strawberries in Barnwell on Thursday, but the patch was closed. So, we tried again on Friday morning. I'm kind of glad it was closed Thursday because it was just me and the kids. Friday morning, Jamie went with us and was very helpful. I don't think I could have handled both kids in the patch. I would have probably picked a handful and called it quits. The strawberries were delicious!! Eli seemed to like them too. I think today I will make some strawberry jam. YUMMY!

Oh, Eli has learned to swing by himself without me pushing him. He seems to enjoy his new way and so do I.
