Tuesday night we were able to go to Wyatt's baseball game. That afternoon, when we ate lunch, Eli prayed for Wyatt. In the middle of our prayer where we were supposed to be blessing our food, Eli shouted out, "Wyatt hit ball!" So, I guess Eli's prayer was answered because Wyatt hit the ball everytime. In this particular picture, he is on

3rd base in the background. He made it all the way to 3rd with his hit. Good job, Wyatt. Heather was able to come to the game too. Eli enjoyed her sunglasses.
Wednesday we went to the zoo with Grandma, Will, Brian, Jessica, Heather, and

Holly. We had a great time while we were there. I included a picture of the bear since it is, by far, Eli's favorite exhibit. He could sit there and watch the bears forever. Today, the bear was pacing back and forth along the ledge they have that seperates the bear from the crowd of people. It was like he was showin

g off for everyone. I don't know where the other bear was. Last time we came, they were fighting, but today we saw no fight. Katie was especially cute in what I call her Zoo dress. It is a cute little sundress

with zoo animals all over it. She really enjoyed watching the ostrich. It had its head sticking over the edge picking for bugs.
We were able to see the gorillas up close because they were actually indoors tod

ay. It amazes me how much they look like real people. One in particular was just staring into space like he was deep in thought. When we got around to the carousel, the kids were all hot. So, Grandma treated them all to ice cream. As you can see, Eli thoroughly enjoyed his. They rode the carousel and then we let them play on the playgr

ound for a little while. It gave us adults time to sit down and cool off. After coaxing them all off of the playground, we finished

up looking at a couple more animals and then headed to McDonalds for some happy meals and then headed home. It was definately a fun day had by all. Eli and Katie were both worn out and fell asleep on the way home. We look forward to going back to the zoo another day and looking at some more animals.
