Mother's Day and Book Parade

Katie's class had a special Mother's Day program for the moms the Friday before Mother's Day.  I went and had lunch with Katie and then came to the classroom with her.  We watched a video of pictures from the school year.  Then each child got up and read what they had written about what they loved about their mother.  After that, we got to go to centers.  There was a guessing center where we had to guess which answers about moms belonged to our child.  We could go to the fingernail center where our child would paint our nails or we could go to the massage center where they would give us a massage.  We could also go to the snack center or the gift center.  I had fun going around to the centers with Katie.  She treated me just like a queen.

Near the end of the school year, we were able to go to the book parade at the school.  Eli was in his class's float.  He pulled it around.  They did the book If you Give a Dog a Donut.  It was really cute!

The girls really like going to visit Eli and Katie at school.
