We started our summer vacation with a little gardening. Jamie and Daddy have a bunch of okra planted down the road, and we figured it was a perfect time for Eli and Katie to learn to art of weed pulling. They had fun and lasted about one hour helping Jamie with the weeds.
One afternoon Daddy had been tilling some of the garden and he let Eli help him bring the tiller up to the truck. Eli's arms were just a shaking as he guided it along the way. Eli really likes helping Papa. Many times he tells me that he needs to work with Papa and out the door he goes. I'm glad that my Dad can be so close by that Eli can learn some fun things from him.
