Eli was given a pumpkin at school and had to decorate it as a storybook character. He chose to decorate his pumpkin as Skippyjon Jones. He could involve the whole family. So, he and I had a lot of fun decorating his pumpkin. He painted the white and then I did the details for his face. He then cut out and decorated his cape and cut out his ears. I thought we did a good job. I even made him read one of the books before he went to school so that he could tell his friends all about his favorite character--Skippyjon Jones.
