Eli's first lost tooth

We were beginning to wonder if Eli was ever going to lose a tooth. He didn't have any loose at the beginning of September. About the middle of September, he complained about his tooth hurting. I gave him some Tylenol and sent him to bed. He didn't say anymore about them hurting. About a week later, we looked and he already two teeth coming in behind his baby teeth. I strongly encouraged him to wiggle, wiggle, and wiggle those two teeth.
Well, finally on Saturday morning, October 2nd, he woke me up and told me he had lost his tooth. So, I hopped out of bed and sure enough, he was holding it in his hand. We were so excited!!
We placed our tooth pillow under his pillow with the tooth in the pocket that evening. Sunday morning he woke me up to show me that he had gotten some money--$5!
He was a very happy boy! About a week later, he and Jamie started wiggling and pulling on the other bottom tooth since it had a tooth behind it already and sure enough, out popped the second tooth. Again, we went through the Tooth Fairy ritual and he woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me that the Tooth Fairy had indeed visited again--$1.
Well another week or two passed and out popped #3. This time, he woke the next morning and had forgotten about the Tooth Fairy all together. I had to remind him that he might have some money. We're just glad he has finally started loosing those baby teeth.
