Christmas Performances

The last week of school was full of Christmas performances. Everyday, there was something that we had to do that involved our children.

Monday, was Eli's high school performance.

Tuesday night, Eli had his performance at the school. The younger grades sang songs and the chorus performed. The principal and assistant principal also sang as well as two of the teachers performing. The kindergarten sang "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" and "Boogie Woogie Reindeer". Eli is on the front row. I loved their little reindeer antler hats. Hannah and Will also performed with their grade level and chorus. They all did a great job. It was amazing how many parents showed up, but all of the students were great.

On Wednesday morning, Katie and Ginny had their Christmas program at school. They sang about 8 or 9 songs and then we had refreshments afterwards.
Ginny sat with her class on the front row and sang some. She was really more interested in watching everyone else.

On Thursday night, Katie had a mini dance recital. She got to dress as a reindeer. Her class got to dress up as reindeer or elves. She told me she didn't want to be an elf. I then had to make sure she was supposed to be a reindeer and that she hadn't just told me that because she didn't want to be the elf. But, she was right. Her teacher had chosen her for a reindeer. It was very cute.

On Friday, it was pouring down rain and cold. Eli was out of school, but Katie and Ginny had their class parties. So, I left Eli and Laura Lynn with Grandma and took the girls to their parties. They had a good time and got to play for a little while. It was a long week with lots to do. We were grateful when it was over, because we have 2 weeks off. Yay!
