Breakfast with Santa

On Saturday, the PTO of the daycare I work at, hosted a "Breakfast with Santa." The only cost was a non-perishable food item per person to go to a food bank. So, we signed up to go and made the trip. We asked Grandma to go with us since Jamie was working.

It started out with a nice breakfast--grits, pancakes, and sausage. My children loved it! At the end of breakfast, Santa came in and sat in his chair. At that point, you could get in line to see Santa or do some other activities until the line got short. So, off we went to do some other activities and then see Santa last.

We started with getting tattoos and then going into the room with Christmas storytime and caroling. Eli and Katie got to play some instruments.

Laura Lynn was there too even though she didn't really sing much. : )

Ginny sat with Grandma during singing time.

We then sat with Santa. Ginny would have nothing to do with him. She talked about him when he came in, but wouldn't sit with him. After we sat with him, Eli and Katie made a picture frame and it was time to go home. It was a fun time and we are so grateful for the PTO for sponsoring such a fun event!
