Water Fun
Do you like my slide show? I got the idea from Ashley's blog. I thought it would be cool when I have a lot of pictures to show. If you want to watch it faster, click the + button. If you want to slow it down click the - button. I can't give more details because I haven't played with it enough myself.
What a much better week than last week! I'm so glad that I'm feeling better! Eli got a haircut this week and Miss Keri spiked it for him. He had seen Wyatt and Will's right after they had theirs cut and they had spiked dos. So, he wanted to be like them.
Katie is constantly trying to climb on things around the house. She's such a little cutie!
Jamie had Thursday and Friday off, so we went up to the mountains with my parents. Jamie helped with some of their little projects up at the cabin while the kids and I just hung out. Thursday night we went to the Maggie Valley Opry House and watched a rather interesting little show. It was just a bunch of good ol' boys playing hillbilly and mountain music. It was fun to hear them play and sing and see an old man "Buck Dance." One of the performers is a famous banjo player and you could tell he was quite talented. Eli and Katie seemed to enjoy the music as well as Jamie and my parents. I think Jamie and my dad especially liked the song, "Five Pound Possum in My Headlights Tonight."
We headed home late Friday night so that Jamie could work today and so that we could go to the Primary activity this afternoon. Eli and Katie enjoyed the Splash Day activity. The primary presidency did a great job with lots of water activities for the kids to enjoy. Look forward to another good week. Eli will start "school" this week. I'm going to try and have more structure in my school teaching with him so that it will be like he's in pre-school. We'll see how it goes.
