On Thursday, January 27th, we left our home and headed to Orlando. We arrived late at night and finally settled down around 11:30. We woke up early on Friday morning and started our day. We ate an awesome breakfast at the hotel and then headed to Magic Kingdom. Katie and Ginny dressed in their princess dresses for the day. Katie chose her cowboy boots to finish the ensemble.
We went with Jamie's family. Jamie's mom gave us our trip for Christmas. The kids were very excited as we walked through the parking lot going to catch the tram.
Our first photo op was with Alice and the White Rabbit. Ginny's not in the picture because she wasn't really sure about the rabbit. For the first day, she was pretty much scared of all of the characters up close. She liked seeing them far off, but didn't want to get close.
We went into Toon Town and enjoyed riding a roller coaster, a train, and then we ventured into Mickey and Minnie's homes. It was fun to see Mickey and Minnie.
We then headed into Fantasy Land where we rode the tea cups, Winnie the Pooh's ride, Dumbo's flying elephants, and Snow White's ride. At Winnie the Pooh, they have an awesome place for the kids to play while you wait. They had fun playing around.
While in Fantasy Land, we met Pinnochio. Ginny didn't like him either.
At 3:20, Eli and Jamie went to go ride some of the rides in Frontier Land while the girls went to the Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique. I had so much fun watching them transform into little princesses. I loved the face cover they gave them when they were putting pixie dust in their hair and spraying their hair. Katie liked it too!
They got make up and a jewel on their cheek. They also had their nails done.
They loved looking at themselves in the mirror when it was over.
We met up with Jamie, Eli, and Mimi's family afterwards and rode the Pirates of the Carribean ride.
We went back to ride It's a Small World and the elephants and carousel again. Everyone was able to eat some ice cream....
...and tried a turkey leg.
We then ran over to ride the race cars. We found the Buzz Lightyear ride that we loved! We rode it two times. We went to see the Stitch ride/attraction and when we came out the fireworks were all above us. It was such a magical day! We loved every minute of it!
