Last weekend we had a little ice storm. Fortunately, it wasn't enough to really close much of anything and the roads were still fine to drive on. Unfortunately on Saturday morning we lost our power for 3 1/2 hours. It wasn't too bad because we have a kerosene heater and my brother came over and lit it for us. Jamie had to go to work and wasn't there during any of it. Just 2/10 of a mile down the road, our neighbor never lost his power and Joey and Bill both at the end of the road only had theirs blink. So, we cozied up during that time and read books and played games.
Ginny was able to cozy up with her Snuggie and take a good nap after the electricity came back on. The trees looked beautiful. I know that ice can be a very dangerous thing and can really inconvenience you when the trees start breaking, but it sure is beautiful!
Katie and Eli went over to Joey and Andrea's to play with Logan during our power outage. Katie dressed herself to go on her adventure. I figured it was Saturday and she wasn't going out in public so I would let her be her own stylist.

I like the pictures of the ice.
You know we haven't gotten anything at all in all of this stuff over the last couple months. Some snow would be lots of fun!
