So, I don't have any pictures to post today because I haven't taken the time to download them. I have spent a lot of time over the last 3 weeks consumed with Heritage Makers and learning as much as I can about it. I've also spent a lot of time working on projects. I have finished 2 more projects that I will post below. I have discovered something over the last 3 weeks--I LOVE HERITAGE MAKERS!!! I love their projects and I love all of the wonderful papers, backgrounds, embellishments, etc.
I did my first workshop last Thursday night at my mom's. It was nice to do it with people that I knew--it made it less stressful. I am hosting a workshop this next Tuesday night. I am so excited to share Heritage Makers with others. I've never been excited about "selling" something but with Heritage Makers I am so excited about telling others about how they can preserve their heritage. This is something I firmly believe in. I love having scrapbooks available for my children to look at. I like to journal in my scrapbooks so that they aren't just photo albums. I like that with Heritage Makers, you can do it online (which is a whole lot less time for me) and you can add/delete text and photos and really make the page your own. You can use a template or create your own page from scratch. I guess I have always liked creating things on the computer. I love watching my favorite shows at night while I sit with the laptop creating my storybooks.
I was able to get the Premier memebership so I have been able to use all of the wonderful templates and artwork. The Basic membership (that is free) would be great too, but because I'm a new consultant I can offer the Premier for a low $99.95 for a year. That is about $8 a month verses the normal $19.95 a month. I hope that if anyone is interested in Heritage Makers they might consider this Premier membership now because after March 15th, I won't be able to offer it.
Anyways, when I got my first 2 projects in the mail on Friday, I was so excited. The kids were very excited too when they saw their pictures. Ginny has looked at their ABC book more than anyone else. I hope to make many more things over the next few months and years.
This is a 16 x 20 wrapped canvas that will hang on the wall. I can't wait to order it and get it in the mail.
This is a board book that will be very sturdy for the kids to read over and over again. It is 8x8 and has 30 pages (15 double page spreads)
