We've had a great week! Monday night we had Family Home Evening with the kids. We went outside and lit our jack-o-lantern and I read a cute little poem. It went like this:
"Being a child of God is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside, and scoops out all the yucky stuff--including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see."
We then came inside and we taught the kids how to dunk Halloween Oreos. Eli and Katie seemed to be pros at it.
The rest of the week we've just been changing out closets with fall/winter clothes. Will came over today while Jennifer volunteered at Wyatt and Hannah's school. Eli enjoyed playing with him.
