Busy Week

What a busy week!  Sunday afternoon, I had a photo shoot on the trampoline with the girls.  I want to make a huge canvas for their room with a cute picture of the three of them.  This was the best I got, so we'll try another day.

Monday, we had cub scouts.  Tuesday, we had dance and I had church.  Wednesday, we were able to hold our weekly family home evening.  The kids are having so much fun now that I have put them in charge of parts each week.  It is so fun seeing what they come up with on their own and having Eli and Katie helping Laura Lynn and Ginny.

Thursday, I had to make cupcakes for Friday.  I had some extra icing and I put it on some cake and Laura Lynn had fun eating it.

Thursday night I also went to PTO and when I came home I gave Eli a practice spelling test.  He was able to write his words on our chalkboard table.

Friday night we went to our friend, Zack's birthday party.  Eli had the class stuffed animal, Willie, for the weekend.  He held onto him the entire night as he jumped.  They kids loved the party.  It was at Monkey Joe's.  Laura Lynn talks about it all of the time!  She loves to Jump, Jump!

Saturday morning, my day started out at church at 8am for the Worldwide Leadership Training.  As soon as that was over, I took Eli for Scouting for Food.  We got home and then I went to pick up Katie from seeing the play "Pinkalicious" with her girl scout troop.  Later in the afternoon, Eli, Ginny, Katie, and I headed to see the circus. The acts were lots of fun and the kids were very well behaved.

When we got home, Jamie had just gotten home from work.  He and the kids started building a tower for Laura Lynn.  We were very impressed when he got his tower from the table all the way to the ceiling.  The most fun part, however, was trying to convince Laura Lynn to knock it down.  She wanted to, but it took her a while before it actually happen.  It was a very busy day to the end of a busy week!  But, it was fun!  We enjoyed our week together and look forward to many more fun times.
