Katie's new hair

Katie got a doll for Christmas that had bangs.  Ever since then, she has talked about getting her hair cut and having bangs like Abby, her doll.  Last weekend she told me that I had to cut her hair because she had told everyone at school that she was getting a hair cut.  Of course, this was Saturday afternoon and I don't cut her hair, so it was too late to make an appointment.  So, the next week I made her an appointment.  This was her before long hair.

Since it was more than a trim, she had her hair washed at the salon for the first time ever.  This is always my absolute favorite part about a hair cut.

We all love her new hair cut!  It completely changed her look.  When Jamie saw it, she said he told her, "You look older, Babe!"  At school the next day, she happened to  be the Super Kid. When you are the Super Kid, everyone gets to sit in a circle and give you a compliment.  Her teacher told me that most of the compliments were about her hair.  It was a big success in her class that day!
