The Mountains---Again

We had the opportunity to go to the mountains again this past weekend. Jamie's Mom was able to go with us this time. We just relaxed and enjoyed the gorgeous fall colors. It amazes me how much they had changed just in one week. The weather was also perfect so Eli and Katie got to play in the creek a good bit. Nana, Jamie, and Eli also enjoyed a walk while Katie was taking a nap and Ginny was playing inside with me. It was a very relaxing weekend. We also made sure to stop in Apple Valley again on our way home and get the fresh apple slushies--Yum!!!

This was the sunset Saturday night--isn't it gorgeous!

Riding around Lake Junaluska, this is a good picture of why they call them the Great Smoky Mountains--all of the cloud coverage of the mountains.

This was in Mrs. Ruby's front yard. Can you imagine standing in your yard everyday and seeing such beauty?

This picture was taken as we were driving around through the back seat windows. I still think it is beautiful all of the colors--it looks just like an artist's pallette.

Of course the kids got on the bungee trampoline again. Look how high he can go!

Ginny's favorite pasttime now is to play on the sit-n-spin---with or without clothes. This morning I left her sleeping in my bed while I was in the shower. After I got out of the shower I heard the music from the sit-n-spin. I assumed she had gotten up and Jamie had taken her into the living room. I was wrong--Jamie was thinking I had gotten her out of bed and put her on the sit-n-spin. She had climbed out of my bed and was playing all on her own.

Hannah and Katie goofing off.
