November was a busy month. We had lots of Thanksgiving celebrations, field trips, and 3 birthday celebrations!
Laura Lynn was an Indian in her preschool Thanksgiving program. Grandma was able to come and see her.
I was the chair again for the Daddy/Daughter dance at the elementary school. We had a luau theme. Baxter the Bear was there.
Because I was already at the school, my good friend, Holly came over to watch Eli and Laura Lynn and she made sure to take a picture of the girls and Jamie before they left.
We went to Barnwell one afternoon and Eli and Cal had a blast on the bike.
Laura Lynn turned 4 on November 18th. This is the cake we took to her class to share with her friends.
Of course she had to have a cake at home too, so we made a cookie cake for her.
Eli's class went to the marionette theater and then had a picnic at Waterfront park. He insisted we take a selfie as we walked across the bridge. It was fun to be with him and his friends.
Ginny's Kindergarten class had a Thanksgiving feast and they performed for us.
I found Ginny asleep like this one night.
Second grade had a Thanksgiving program and Katie was one of few that had a speaking part.
Ginny turned 6 on November 27th She had been telling people for months that she was going to Chuckie Cheese's for her birthday. So, we caved and took the kids to Chuckie Cheese. They had a blast!!
Ginny and her birthday cake.
Papa and Eli love teasing each other. Eli really loves that Papa!
Eli's birthday was on December 1st. He turned 10. The weekend before his birthday, was Thanksgiving. After feasting with Mama and Daddy, we headed to the mountains. It was the last weekend we were all able to spend up there before they sold their house. We stayed next door at Nana and Mimi's house. We helped pack stuff up and load it up to bring back to Blythewood.
On Saturday, Jamie, Eli, Will, Wyatt, and I took off for the day to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to see Jay Mattox play football. He is my cousin Duane's son and he is the kicker for UTEP. They were playing Middle Tennessee (?) that day and we went up for the game. We got there early enough to watch Jay warm up and we were able to see him several times throughout the game.
This trip to see Jay was Eli's "party". He had a fun at his first college football game.
This is Jay warming up before the game.
Jay is in the background.
Eli and Will had fun throughout the game.
On Eli's birthday we celebrated with cake. I can't believe my baby turned 10! It seems just like yesterday that Jamie and I were getting ready to go to the hospital to have him. Time sure does fly!
