Eli was assigned a project to decorate a little pumpkin for his kindergarten class the other day. I was asking him how he wanted to decorate his pumpkin. I was giving him different ideas and he said he wanted to make it a girl. I was kind of curious why and he said, "I want to make it into my teacher, Mrs. Dyson." He knows how to try and get some brownie points. ; )
He painted her eyes and mouth and then that night, we glued down her hair. He said that she wore it in a pony tail sometimes, so we tied it back and put a ribbon in her hair. He also added some earrings and a few dots for freckles on her cheeks (although I'm not sure she has freckles).
