We had a really fun Labor Day holiday. We all met over at my parents around 1pm for lunch. It was delicious! Daddy had grilled porkchops, barbecue chicken, and ribeye. Everyone made different sides to go along with it. We had mac and cheese, green bean casserole, slaw, potato salad, several different apple salads, and white bread. We also had yummy desserts--pound cake, pudding, fruit torte, cheesecake, and huge marshmallows. After lunch, the kids all went swimming and had a good time. This was really the first time I was able to take pictures of them in the pool. I usually am in the water with them, and don't have a camera. It was nice to be able to just sit back and watch them. The kids also got to ride Uncle Joey's army ambulance and had a great water balloon fight. We didn't come in from outside until almost 7pm that evening.
We have a pretty big week this week. Eli has his first coaches pitch baseball game. I won't get any pictures probably because I will be working the concession stand. Maybe my mom might get to take some. If not, he plays again later in the week and I can take pictures then.
I also have my first Enrichment Meeting that I'm in charge of in the Ridgeway Ward. Hopefully lots of sisters will come out and support our night. We're going to do a get to know you activity so that we can all get to know each other better.
