Ginny is 9 months old

I can't believe our little Ginny is already 9 months old. She went for her 9 month check-up today. She weighs a whopping 16 lbs. 8.5 oz and is 26 1/2 inches tall. That puts her in the 25th percentile for both height and weight. I looked at Katie's baby book and she was a few ounces less than this weight at her 9 month check up. Of course Eli was about 25 lbs. at his 9 month check up. I guess that's the difference in boys and girls.

Ginny seems to be growing just fine. She wants to try taking steps but hasn't mastered anything quite yet. I did finally discover that she can sit up. When she started crawling we had never seen her sit up because as soon as you would sit her down, she leaned over and propped herself up on her arms wanting to crawl. She finally has slowed down enough to enjoy sitting up and playing with a toy.

We sure love Ginny. She has been such a blessing to our family.
