January Fun

We've really not been up to too much lately. The kids have been going to school each day and getting a chance to play with their friends and learn a little. Ginny and I have been doing some "Spring cleaning" in January. It feels so good to walk in the house and to not see clutter. We borrowed Mama and Daddy's garbage can so that we could really de-clutter this week. We'll have 2 big garbage cans at the road on Friday.
Last week I finished a dress for Katie that I started back in November. My aunt Dootie had helped me to sew a courdouroy jumper and I was waiting to embroider something on it. After the baby was born, I didn't have a lot of time so I finally decided to get it done last week. I used my new sewing/embroidery machine to embroider Minnie Mouse on her dress. It was fun. I'll have to get more cards with designs so that I can embroider more.
Ginny is growing so fast! It is hard to believe that she is 7 weeks old. She is smiling now and is so cute when she does it. I've tried to get a picture of her smiling, but I mainly get an open mouth.
Eli is now a CTR 5 class member. He got a CTR ring this past Sunday at church and he has loved wearing it all around the house. I can't believe this year he'll turn 5 years old. He's growing up so fast!
