Eli is a big help when it is time to get Katie up too. He has learned to open doors, so he goes on into her room and climbs in the crib with her until I can make it in there.
Eli has quite the personality. He started calling us all "guys" yesterday. Today he kept saying things like, "Look, guys. Watch me jump, guys." I'm not sure where he picked that up from, but it is pretty funny. Today he got a little upset because Katie drooled all over his puzzle pieces. He came over to me crying because he has drool on his hands. I was playing the piano at the time and so I told him it was fine. He then wanted to get up and play with me, but I wouldn't pick him up. I told him he could sit next to me, but that wasn't good enough for him. So, what did he do? He licked my arm. He then laughed and laughed at himself for licking me. I finally got him to stop by telling him that if he didn't stop, I was going to hold him down and let Katie lick him all over his face.
Katie is so observant. She watches everything Eli does. It is so funny to see her watch and then laugh at him when he's being silly. She definately loves her big brother and he loves his sister. I just hope they continue loving each other and getting along as they get older.
Last night Eli went with his Papa to watch cousin Wyatt play baseball. When I picked him up later, all he could talk about was Wyatt hitting the ball. He was very excited to have gone to the ball field. I can't wait until he's old enough for t-ball. I think he'll have a blast out on the field.
Tonight Paba and Nana were able to come up and visit us. We had a great supper of rotisserie chicken, bread, cheese, pimento cheese, oranges, strawberries, and pears. I think Eli ate his weight in strawberries dipped in yogurt. We enjoyed seeing them. Eli was so excited to see them that he decided to go home with them for a couple of days. We'll miss him, but I know he'll have a blast playing with his cousins.

Here's a picture of us after supper. Jamie was the photographer. We'll have to get him in another one soon.
