Eli participated in his first Pinewood Derby yesterday. We learned a lot so that next year we will start earlier and add a few different things to make it a little faster. Our goal was not to finish first, but we just didn't want to finish last. Eli did well for our first derby. He stayed right in the middle of the pack the whole time. He did finish 2nd a time or two. In the race below, he was in lane 6. You can see his car going down the track and he had a 3rd place finish.
He had a good time for his first derby.
