We were able to spend a week at Edisto Beach this last week. It was so much fun!!! We went with Jamie's mom and his siblings and their families. The kids had so much fun with all of their cousins. They prepared plays and skits for us, even though they never performed them. They played so well together and it was great just watching them have fun. We had fun going out to the beach. At the end of the island we were able to almost swim with some dolphins. Jamie and the kids were out in the water and the dolphins were just 20 feet or so from them. Jamie could even hear their noises as he floated in the water. One dolphin was about 5 feet from Jamie out in the water. They also went out in the boat one day and had some dolphins swimming right next to the boat. It was so nice to be with family and just enjoy our time together. The house was great and I think we might get the same one next summer. It overlooked the marsh, but was just a few blocks from the beach.
The dolphins were very close to the shore!
