After spending 2 nights in the hospital, Laura Lynn and I were able to come home on Friday morning. Icould have come home Thursday afternoon, but after doing that with the last 2 babies, I decided it would be nice to spend that extra night in the hospital not only for me to be able to rest a little more, but to be able to spend a little more time with Laura Lynn.
My doctor came in Friday morning and said I could go home. So, I started packing up the room.

I got her dressed in her going home outfit. This is the same outfit my Grandma Helen bought for me to wear home from the hospital 35 years ago. The dress and booties have been worn home by all of my girls. I'll have to post a picture of them all side by side one day just to compare the 3 of them.
We stopped by and picked up Ginny and Katie from school on our way home. Ginny was so excited to get in the car and see that the baby was next to her seat. She was so sweet with her. She wanted to hold her and love her when we got home.
We had a good day yesterday visiting with Jamie's family. The kids really enjoyed playing outside with all of their cousins and Laura Lynn really loved being spoiled by everyone. Jamie's mom went home last night. We sure will miss her! She was so helpful while I was in the hospital with the kids and keeping the house clean and was great once we got home. She made it easy for me to just sit back and relax and take it easy that first couple of days home. Thanks, Nana!

Oh Shannon, these pictures are so sweet. I love all of them in the posts below as well. Especially the one of Ginnie kissing Laura Lynn. What a beautiful name too.
She is just precious. Have so much fun holding her and taking care of her while she is still so small and fresh from Heavenly Father. I am loving my Jesse so much as well and he is just growing like a weed!
