We're Alive!

We have been very busy and I have not had any time to look at the computer, much less update my blog. I feel so out of the loop on everything. Let's see, here is a quick list of what's been going on.
  • Baseball season is now over. Eli did really good for his first season and experience with baseball. He got a trophy and is so proud of it. He has cleaned it a couple of times and loves showing it off.
  • School is over and Eli moved up to my class for the next year. Let's just say, it will be an adventure.
  • My friend Caroline got married and I did her wedding cake and catered the food. It went very good. She picked a cheesecake for the wedding cake with a white chocolate cream cheese frosting. It was a bit difficult to decorate, but it's over with now and it tasted great! My friend Jen helped me cook Greek food for the reception. Her daughters and my great friend, Holly, came and helped serve the food and plate it up. We had Greek chicken, lemon rice, a greek salad with feta cheese and greek dressing, pita bread, and homemade tiziki sauce. (I'm sure I misspelled that.)
  • We went to Edisto for a week and had a blast! Now we're just trying to clean up and unpack and get our house back to normal.
Here are some of the highlights in pictures.

Daddy's Girls

Eli and Katie at Charles Towne Landing

I wish I could find some of these to keep around the house.

Edisto Beach at sunset.

Katie played in some make-up.

Ginny at 6 months

Ginny chilling on the beach.

Katie feeding the sea gulls.

The primary visited the temple the last Saturday in May. It was quite a challenge to get them all to smile on such a hot day.

We painted Katie and Ginny's room and decorated it in ladybugs. Ginny slept her first night in her ladybug crib on June 4th and I stopped feeding her in the middle of the night. The first night it was and hour and a half of crying, but I didn't give in and within 3 days she slept through the night without me getting up at all. It has been heaven to be able to sleep all night again. Yeah, Ginny!

Eli got a certificate for participating in gymnastics!

Eli rode a horse at a friend's birthday party.

Grandma bought a waterslide!

Katie prefers sitting in the pool to sliding.

And last, but definitely not the least, Ginny's crawling at 6 1/2 months!

Love all of the new pics. Your kids are cute-I love the one of them at the temple. Hope all is going good!

It sounds like Aaron had a good time back there visiting everyone. I have so many memories from visiting when I was little. My most fond one being the throw up incident in your Mom's pool - gross but priceless. Oh - I remember pheasants chasing us, too. And cow pies. Yucky! Les
