We celebrated Katie's 2nd birthday this week! Her birthday was Wednesday and so we had supper at home with her and Eli and then she got a birthday brownie for a treat. I had made cookies in the shape of Elmo that she took to school that day and shared with her friends.
Yesterday was her birthday party. We had an Elmo carnival in the backyard. The weather was perfect! We had lots of balloons and fun. There was a fishing booth, beanbag toss, bowling, floating duck game, and a cookie walk. They all got to go on a golf cart ride. We had corndogs, popcorn, and carmel apples as well as a cake and ice cream. I think fun was had by all. I know that Katie enjoyed it. She ate and ate and then looked at me (while eating her cake and ice cream) and said, "My tummy hurts." It was too cute! I can't believe she's growing up so fast!

i know it's a little late...but we did have a great time at katie's birthday party...and thanks for having us over yesterday as well! we had a great time!
