Home Depot's Christmas Party

Last Sunday we went to the Home Depot Christmas Party. It was lots of fun. They had the food table set up in the doors and windows section under a tent and everyone sat at tables down the treated lumber aisle. They also had rented 2 of those giant inflatables for the children to play on. Eli and Katie seemed to enjoy themselves. If you look closely, you can see Eli in the background behind Katie.

Jamie was Santa at this party also. The kids still didn't want to have too much to do with him, but finally they sat on my lap, on his lap and let someone take their picture. Eli's picture is a little fuzzy, but the one with Katie turned out real cute, considering when she saw Santa's face she cried.

They had a doorprize drawing while we were there. Jamie and I both ended up winning something. I just assumed it was a box of candy or nails wrapped up, but when I opened my gift it was a new digital camera. It is very nice! I was very excited since I had asked for one for Christmas. I called mama the next morning and told her she could buy me something else with the money she would have spent on a camera. What a great surprise!
