No pictures to include today, but just an update on life. After 3 or more years of being in YW or Primary and not being able to go to Relief Society, I received a calling last week that puts me back in with the Relief Society sisters each week. I am now the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society Presidency. I am so grateful to be able to serve the sisters in my ward. I loved working with the YW and I loved teaching my little 8 year olds, but there's just something about being able to be in Relief Society each week. I am going to love it!
We have been able to eat some fresh fruits and vegetables this week from the garden. We have had fresh tomatoes from our little tomato bush. We have also had fresh lettuce over the last several weeks. Out of Daddy's garden, we've had zucchini and blueberries. I will post some pictures and recipes soon of some of the goodies I have made.
The kids are doing great! Eli started in the Kindergarten group at the Summer Camp at Trinity on Monday. He gets to bring his own lunch each day. On Monday he left it in the car and we had to go back out and get it. While we were walking out, I asked him why he hadn't brought it in. He said, "I thought we were going to my new school." He had thought he was going to the Elementary school and officially start kindergarten. I explained that he would do that in August and for now he still went to Trinity each day, just with a different group. He seemed okay with that--especially when he went to the gym and saw all of his friends. He was also able to go on his first field trip to the zoo on Tuesday. He was very excited about that. I can't believe he's that grown up that he goes on a field trip without me!
Katie and Ginny have been doing fine too. They are with their same teachers for the time being. At the end of the summer Ginny will move up to the older class and we'll see where Katie ends up. She might end up with me and my class or she might stay where she's at. It all depends on numbers. Either way, I look forward to her learning this year. It will be fun to be able to spend some more time with her while Eli's in school this fall. She loves to learn and is very smart.
Mama's pool is oficially opened. We were the first swimmers last night. The kids had a blast. Ginny was a little frightened at first, but as soon as she got used to the water, she loved it and had so much fun. It was fun racing Eli across the pool. We showed him how to do flips underwater and how to walk on our hands under the water. This summer is going to be lots of fun since my children love to swim and we plan on spending many hours in the water.
Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.

About a month ago I got put in as the 2nd counselor in our RS Presidency here - you're going to love it! I think it's cool we get to serve at the same time - are you over Enrichment, too?
Looks like you guys are shaping up for a fun summer!
